Well, we are going to play around with this blog idea some and see how it goes.  Got a lot going on here all the time and some of it should get pretty interesting over the next few months!

Some of our new projects will show up at the Daytona show in a couple of weeks and, unfortunately, some will not.  Had high hopes on a couple of things but they turned out to be a bit more involved that first thought.  All good things take time I guess?  We always like this show.  It draws a lot of people from around the country and it is good to meet some of our customers for a change.  Hopefully we will have as good a show this year as we have had in the past.  I will get our table #’s up here as soon as I get the official show playbook in the mail.

Looks like our new ABS cages will be ready in time.  Got the stacking brackets pretty well sorted out as well as a few other details.  I am very happy with these, it was time to get something quick, easy to use and more affordable into the product line.  With rising oil costs have come higher shipping costs and most of all, higher plastic costs.  This is likely to become a much bigger challenge in the coming years.  These cages will be an answer for those out there that do not need something large and need something affordable as well.  With this type of cage we are almost eliminating the need for assembly labor and machining time so the price is much lower.  Our target with these is the small to mid sized colubrid or juvenile boa/python.  These will also work very well as a quarantine setup.  Hopefully we will get some time later this week to get a few pics up and get them on the site.
